Q: The April 16 episode of "Scorpion" looked as though it may have been the series finale. Will it be coming back?

A: CBS called the episode the season finale. The network has not said what "Scorpion's" future is, and final word may have to wait until mid-May when CBS unveils its full plans for 2018-19. 'The Deuce' part deux

Q: Has HBO canceled "The Deuce"?

A: A second season of the HBO drama about the sex and porn businesses in New York City is in production, even though earlier this year, five women accused star James Franco of sexual misconduct on different projects; he has denied the charges. In February, "The Deuce" co-creator David Simon told Variety, "We have no complainant or complaint or any awareness of any incident of concern involving Mr. Franco. In our experience, he was entirely professional as an actor, director, and producer."

Curb your anticipation

Q: When will "Curb Your Enthusiasm" be back?

A: New episodes of "Curb" always depend on when Larry David feels like making more. The eighth season, for example, ended in September 2011 and the ninth did not begin until October 2017. But HBO announced plans for Season 10 last December, not long after the ninth season ended, sparking hope that we might get new episodes late this year. Before the ninth season began, David promised that "if I do another season, I'm not going to wait five years."

Diamond gets jazzy

Q: I watched a movie years ago that starred Neil Diamond and I think the name of it was "Coming to America" (not the one with Eddie Murphy). Diamond sang his song with the same name in the movie. Any ideas?

A: That would be the 1980 version of "The Jazz Singer," with Diamond playing the son of a Jewish cantor pursuing a dream of pop stardom. The song "America" (also known as "Coming to America") was featured in the film.

Where did her love go?

Q: I missed some episodes of "Grey's Anatomy." What happened to Meredith's love interest?

A: You are thinking of Nathan Riggs, played by New Zealand actor Martin Henderson. His last appearance was in the "Danger Zone" episode that aired in October. Riggs and Megan (Abigail Spencer) left Seattle for Malibu. You may end up seeing Henderson in another project from "Grey's" mastermind Shonda Rhimes. Having worked with Henderson several times, she said last year he is "part of the Shondaland family."
