Time of your life
Sunday's return to "Twin Peaks" (8 p.m., Showtime) may be the big TV story of the week — see startribune.com/tv for an interview with Minnesota co-creator Mark Frost — but don't miss out on a more mindless skip down memory lane. "Dirty Dancing" is a fairly faithful remake of the 1987 film, but with bonus selections on the jukebox, including Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me, Babe," and more commentary on racial and economic struggles of the 1960s. The cast, led by Abigail Breslin, is top-notch.

You only live once
George Lazenby narrates his own shaken-and-stirred journey to temporary stardom in "Becoming Bond" with Jane Seymour, Dana Carvey and Jeff Garlin portraying significant figures from his past. Lazenby's anecdotes on how he went from auto mechanic to starring in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" are a bit incredible, but the Aussie sells them with boyish charm. He may be a better actor than we thought.

Trying too hard
I assumed that reimagining "Love Connection" for a prime-time audience would force certain frills, but a $10,000 prize, an overly caffeinated audience and a drawbridge from a Las Vegas production of "Camelot" are overkill. New host Andy Cohen clearly digs his role as matchmaker, but he'd be well advised to get over his passion for puns.
