Financial con games have ruined many lives, but they've also inspired some terrific films, including "The Big Short" and "Margin Call." "The Wizard of Lies" isn't in that category, despite the presence of Robert De Niro as Bernie Madoff, although it's always a pleasure to see the Oscar winner recommit himself to a strong-and-silent role rather than trying to be the king of comedy.
