The write stuff
The main reason to watch "Rosewood" has been to marvel at star Morris Chestnut's chiseled physique, but Twin Cities viewers have incentive to actually turn up the volume, at least for one week. Minnesotan Marc Halsey, who previously wrote for "Brothers & Sisters" and "The Client List," penned the latest episode, in which the pathology team tracks the corpse of an escape artist.

Flying lower than an eagle
I was skeptical about Idina Menzel rerecording "Wind Beneath My Wings," let alone stepping into Bette Midler's heels for a new version of "Beaches," but the fact that indie director Allison Anders was at the helm gave me hope that film would find an original path to our tear ducts. Unfortunately, neither Menzel nor Anders seem terribly interested in messing with the 1988 template or coming up with a fresh take on female friendship. Time is on their side
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards deserve props for releasing an album of blues classics last year, but at the end of the day, we really want to see the Stones dig into their own classics, like "Honky Tonk Women" and "Miss You." Those hits and more are on the set list in "The Rolling Stones: Havana Moon," which captures highlights from the band's recent performance in Cuba.

The fugitive kind
"The Hunted" is being billed as a giant game of hide and seek, with nine teams of two scampering to avoid capture by investigators and high-tech tracking methods on a playing field that covers much of the southeastern United States. Think "The Amazing Race" with Tommy Lee Jones on your tail.
