The original version of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” is only 15 years old, but the idea of flamboyantly gay men “fixing” heterosexual misfits already seems dated. That’s not necessarily the fault of the show’s new crew, who seem passionate about their assignments.

In “Absentia,” she plays an FBI agent who’s presumed dead, until she returns with a serious case of memory loss after being confined in a water tank. If the torture-tank scenes don’t trigger the chills, a reunion with her son will.
