I was driving home this morning from "Parents Day at Preschool"thinkingabouthow fortunate I was to have a work situation where I could take the morning off to be Ben's special guest in class.
I spend quality time with my child and then gocheck my work e-mailsat home and make some phone calls in a pinch.
In a moment of serendipity:
I turned on the radio to hear Mid-Morning on MPR discussing work/life balance and parentingin this day and age.
I wish I had been able to hear the entire program. It's now posted online.
