Grady Meyer, Troy Johnson and Tyler Obermueller are tied for the lead after Tuesday's second round of the 114th MGA Amateur Championship at Interlachen Country Club in Edina.

Meyer (Windsong Farm), Johnson (Medina CC) and Obermueller (Oak Marsh) each have a two-round total of 145, 5 over par. They hold a one-shot lead over Sam Foust (Edina CC) and Michael Schmitz (the Bridges) and a two-shot edge over Myles Pfingsten (Interlaken) going into Wednesday's final round.

"I didn't have what I had [Monday]," Obermueller said after following his opening round of 71 with a 74. "My speeds were a little off on the greens."

The most dramatic improvement from the first round to the second came from Taylor Sundbom of Ridgeview CC. He shot an 88 in the first round and a 2-under 68 in the second, the only player to shoot under par Tuesday.
