It's time to get your manuscript ready and submit the first chapter for consideration as next summer's Star Tribune serial and e-book.
We publish only original material that has not been published before in print or digitally. Preference is given to writers and plots with connections to the Upper Midwest, but anyone can submit a first chapter on any topic in any locale.
Because of the volume of submissions, we cannot respond personally to each entry and we cannot accept full manuscripts. Please send the first chapter only; we will request full manuscripts from a small number of finalists.
