ITEM: Reusse's Twitter speculates that a Mauer extension may be announced to kick off this weekend's TwinsFest. Does this make you giddy with excitement, or at the very least help you put the events of last Sunday out of your mind?

I myself have not, but have a mental picture of Nick Punto parking your car for you, Ron Coomer asking you if you you're going to finish those nachos, and Gardy flipping his keys to one of the clubhouse guys to make a beer run for later.
