A storm system brought steady rain into the New York City area at 9 p.m. EDTon Tuesday, and the rain will continue through much of the day Wednesday.Although the storm will bring over an inch of rain by Wednesday evening, thesteady rain will move out just in time for Game One of the World Series.

Game One of the 2009 World Series at Yankee Stadium will be overcast and coolwith some drizzle, but the steady rain will have already ended. Winds will beblowing in from the outfield during the game at about 10-20 mph. Expect a gametime temperature around 54 degrees.
