PLAY OF THE GAME

CARDINAL SIN

Score: The Vikings led 14-10 one minute into the third quarter.

Situation: 2nd-and-6 at the Green Bay 6

The play: Vikings QB Christian Ponder (7) rolled right and was pursued by Mike Neal (96). Ponder passed back toward Michael Jenkins (84) in the back of the end zone, but Morgan Burnett (42) leaped to make the interception.

Result: The Vikings' momentum was gone, and they didn't score again.

VIEW FROM PACKER COUNTRY

The Packers had an up-close look at Plan B Sunday at Lambeau Field. And production on offense actually increased. When right tackle T.J. Lang was lost to an ankle injury, undrafted rookie Don Barclay saw his first snaps of the season on the offensive line. After a rocky start, he settled in and played well. Against a dangerous Vikings front four, Barclay held his own. Said Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. "He's a physical guy, he's a tough guy. He's what you're looking for as far as your right tackle."

THE QUOTE
