COLLEGE OF ST. SCHOLASTICA

Founded: 1912, by the Catholic sisters of the Order of St. Benedict

Where: Duluth

Enrollment: 2,859 (total undergraduate)

Coeducational history: The college was founded as a women's school, and men were first admitted in 1969. The current student body is 70 percent female and 30 percent male.

Football: Added in 2008 as a way to attract more men to the school, the team has won three consecutive championships in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, compiling a 27-6 record from 2011-2013. This season, the Saints lead the UMAC with a 6-0 conference record (7-0 overall) and play Eureka College on Saturday in Duluth.
