Preview: United FC (1-0) will go for its second road victory in as many games and try to spoil the historic home opener for the expansion Ottawa Fury. "We have the huge challenge of being the villain in the first ever home game for an entire franchise," United coach Manny Lagos said.

United FC at a glance: Minnesota won 2-0 in the season opener at San Antonio, getting goals from Christian Ramirez and Kevin Venegas. The team was also aided by the first-half ejection of a Scorpions player, forcing the home team to play with 10 men for the duration. While pleased with the outcome, Lagos wants his team to limit its giveaways and be smarter when defending in dangerous areas.

Ottawa at a glance: The Fury (0-1) dominated possession last week against Fort Lauderdale, keeping the ball for 64 percent of the match and outshooting the Strikers 13-7. Forward Tom Heinemann will miss 4-6 weeks because of a high ankle sprain and Nicki Paterson and former United player Sinisa Ubiparipovic will also be unavailable.
