It was a wild night at the Minnesota Zoo during the 2017 Beastly Ball.
While browsing silent auction items in Discovery Bay, human guests mingled with animal guests, including snakes and lizards as well as a few furry friends. The special human guests for the evening included KARE-11's Sven Sundgaard, who emceed the evening's program.
Funds raised at the annual event benefit the Minnesota Zoo's activities, especially the Free to Explore program, which allows low-income families to visit the zoo at no cost.
