The Hilton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis was transformed into "A Night on the Silk Road" as the Minnesota Orchestra hosted the 2017 Symphony Ball.
Tapestries adorned the walls and guests were treated to ethnic music while enjoying hors d'oeuvres, dates and other Silk Road delicacies, and dinner.
The party continued at Orchestra Hall with a concert by the orchestra and special guest Dessa.
The annual Symphony Ball supports the orchestra's artistic initiatives and musical education activities.
