Wisconsin native Frank Lloyd Wright, who died in 1959, continues to fascinate with his influential Prairie style designs. He found inspiration and work in Japan, and his legacy there was celebrated at the annual meeting of the Minnesota chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians at the Minnesota Humanities Center in St. Paul.
Past chapter President Jane King Hession spoke about what Wright called "the most romantic artistic country on Earth." The group of architecture fans sponsors tours and promotes research.
