Edina scored four goals in the second period and rolled past Class 2A, No. 1 Blake 5-2 on Saturday in girls' hockey at Blake Ice Arena.

The Bears took a 19-0-1 record into the game.

The third-ranked Hornets got things going 35 seconds into the second when Evelyn Adams knocked a loose puck into the net.

Annie Kuehl extended the lead to 2-0 when she rocketed a shot past Bears goaltender Anna Kruesel.

Hannah Chorske scored two goals 2:32 apart later in the period to give the Hornets a 4-0 lead after two periods.

Aliyah Lance scored for the Hornets in the third in between a goals by Kyra Willoughby and Addie Burton of Blake.

Wayzata 3, Eden Prairie 2: Gretchen Branton capped a hat trick with 30 seconds left in the third period to give the Class 2A, No. 11 Trojans the victory over the visiting the No. 9 Eagles.

Shakopee 3, Lakeville South 2 (OT): Abigail Eastman scored 1:39 into overtime to give the visiting Sabers the victory over the Class 2A, No. 16 Cougars. Josie Saufferer and Kyah Orr scored 6 minutes apart in the third period for the Cougars to tie the score.

Boys' hockey

Becker/Big Lake 4, Northwest Icemen 3: Weston Schug scored with 42 seconds left in the third period to give Becker/Big Lake the victory over the visiting Icemen. Austin Rydberg, Aubrey Hartfiel and Corbin Kollar also scored for Becker/Big Lake. Wyatt Boe tied the game for the Icemen with 55 seconds left in the game.

Moorhead 3, Centennial 2 (OT): Carter Randklev scored the game-winner to help the Spuds upset the Class 2A, No. 8 Cougars at Lake George Park as part of Hockey Day in Minnesota. Cole O'Connell and Kyler Kleven scored first-period goals for Moorhead. William Francis and Hayden Brickner scored second-period goals for the Cougars.

Eastview 3, Rosemount 0: Trevor Lunde stopped 30 shots to shut out the visiting Irish. Nate Bordson, Luke Barron and Jack Young scored for the Lightning. Ben Garrity made 31 saves for the Irish.

Senior forward Krystal Carlson became the first Hastings girls' basketball player to surpass 2,000 career points when she scored 20 in Hastings' 54-42 loss to Tartan on Friday.
