Sam Mitchell will be the first person interviewed for the Sacramento Kings coaching job, according to reports from the Sacramento Bee and ESPN.

Unlike the Wolves job, which appears to be on a fast-track interviewing process, the Bee reported that the Kings search to replace George Karl is expected to be "lengthy."

The Bee reported that the team is also interested in former Wolves executive and Houston coach Kevin McHale, who was fired by the Rockets during the middle of this season.

According to the Bee: "The Kings also will interview former Chicago and Los Angeles Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro. ESPN reported in addition to Mitchell and Del Negro, the Kings will interview former Golden State coach Mark Jackson and also have interest in former Cleveland and Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike Brown, former Portland coach and current Indiana assistant coach Nate McMillan, and Miami assistant David Fizadle."

The full Bee report is here.

ESPN's Mark Stein is reporting that the first three interviews will be with Mitchell, Del Negro and Jackson, who is scheduled to be interviewed by the Timberwolves today.
