I picked "The Temptation to Be Happy" — a novel by Lorenzo Marone — off a display shelf at the library. And it's great. Old man in an apartment. I wish I had written it. The ending is real. "Marino, she couldn't have been saved. That's the truth!" And we know it is. I have to buy a copy now so I can pass it around.
