Beverly Cottman from Minneapolis writes:

On my nightstand:  "Nellie Stone Johnson: The Life of an Activist," as told to David Brauer; "Disgruntled," by Asali Solomon; "Reading Picture Books With Children," by Megan David Lambert; "Booked," by Kwame Alexander; "Jump Back, Paul: The Life and Poems of Paul Laurence Dunbar," by Sally Derby and illustrated by Sean Qualls, and an audio book in the car, "Radiance of Tomorrow," by Ishmael Beah. Having reading time every day is the best thing about summer.
