Midfielder Rasmus Schuller is available for selection to Minnesota United's match-day squad when the Loons face Sporting Kansas City at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium.

Schuller started in the holding midfield United's first three matches but lost his spot until the 2-2 draw at the Houston Dynamo on April 15. A hip flexor injury late in the first half of that match kept him out of the next two matches.

As for midfielder Collin Martin, who has trained separately this week with an injury, coach Adrian Heath said it might be "a bit too early for him" to make the squad this weekend, but "certainly next week he will be ... in full-time training."

With United practicing outside at the University of Minnesota's Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium on Friday, left-back Marc Burch returned to training. The defender has been dealing with a groin injury that acts up when he plays on turf, but he has not missed any playing time because of it.

"It's just a case of managing him at this moment in time," Heath said of the 32-year-old. "He actually feels a lot better this week, so maybe that's because the last two weeks, he hasn't been on the indoor. You don't like players missing three, four days training ideally, but a couple of days is not really a problem for somebody of his age."

As far as possible lineup changes for United, which fielded its first repeat lineup last week in the 1-0 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes, Heath said it's possible.

"I've not 100 percent made my mind up, but there could be."
