It's a good idea to watch where you walk during the 42nd annual Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw and Festival Friday and Saturday at Marion Park. The Defeat of Jesse James Days recaps the city's famous bank raid and shootout Sept. 7-11. Re-enactments and tours will be held at the Northfield Historical Society Bank Site and Museum. Music and people will flow through Henry Maier Festival Park Sept. 9-11 during the 30th annual Indian Summer Festival, one of the nation's largest American Indian festivals.
