Northwestern (14-9, 3-8): The Wildcats broke a five-game losing streak with a 69-59 victory at Illinois on Thursday. … Nia Coffey (20.0), Maggie Lyon (16.1), Christen Inman (15.1) and Ashley Deary (13.0) have scored 84.2 percent of the team's points this season. Coffey, from Hopkins High School, has scored in double figures in 37 straight games. She is the only player in the Big Ten averaging double digits in points and rebounds. … Deary leads the nation with 4.43 steals per game. She is second in the Big Ten with 6.6 assists per game.
