Jason Pominville, who will play his 219th consecutive regular-season game for the Wild this afternoon, could be one step closer to the press box.

The struggling Wild right wing will be demoted to the fourth line for the first time in his Minnesota career today. Pominville has scored six goals and 15 assists this season.

He has one goal and one assist and is minus-7 in the past 21 games.

Jason Zucker, demoted to the fourth line the past two games after being scratched last Saturday in St. Louis, moves to the Mikael Granlund-Nino Niederreiter line.

Jared Spurgeon took warmups, but he didn't skate in D pair rushes and looked limited. He won't play.

Darcy Kuemper gets the nod for Devan Dubnyk, who is 0-8-1 in his past nine starts.

Jonas Gustavsson (9-3-1 with a 2.58 GAA and .911 SV%) starts today. Patrice Bergeron, who looked to me like he hurt his ankle falling after a fight with Winnipeg's Blake Wheeler the other night, is out.
