Few people can resist the sight of a cute puppy, apparently not even armed robbers.

Minneapolis police are seeking a man who they say approached a woman outside a house in the 3900 block of Grand Avenue S. at 3 p.m. Thursday and, displaying a handgun, stole her 6-week-old blue nose pit bull puppy.

The victim — unharmed, but rattled — described her assailant in a Facebook post as "a white guy who looked like Seth Rogan," referring to the comedic actor with hit movies like "Superbad" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" to his credit.

She wrote that the suspect who "stole him from me wasn't anyone I know just a random person so if anyone see this puppy or knows of anyone that is selling him please let me know." The post has since been shared dozens of times on the social media site.

The woman walked into a nearby police station to report the crime, according to an incident report, but the suspect was gone when officer arrive at the scene.

No arrests have been announced.
