Kathleen Haga, Mill City Sound, Hopkins:

1 Jason Isbell, "The Nashville Sound." I've been looking forward to him getting back to recording with the 400 Unit.

2 "Long Strange Trip," Amazon Prime. There are lots of rare behind-the-scenes interviews with Grateful Dead insiders in this long movie.

3 Mavis Staples. I love this member of the civil rights movement. She's an awesome all-around person and singer. She just turned 75.

Jon Bream of the Star Tribune:

1 Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame. Totally deserved.

2 Rolling Stones "Exhibitionism," Chicago. This touring exhibit has terrific artifacts (guitars, outfits, posters), but the best thing is a replica of the seedy apartment that Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and Brian Jones shared when they started.

3 Old Crow Medicine Show, the Palace. This acoustic Americana band positively electrified Bob Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" with fine musicianship and over-the-top personality.
