The 2019 Ordway Center for the Performing Arts Spring Fête featured a 1930s-inspired salute to New York City as a nod to the beloved musical "42nd Street," opening at the Ordway in downtown St. Paul in July. Guests took a leisurely walk down a virtual street while enjoying delicacies, games and performances. Proceeds from the event help fund Ordway Arts Education initiatives, a program introducing live theater experiences to more than 60,000 students each year.
