Rekuski, Gerald J. Age 86, of Annandale, passed away 9/2/2015. Preceded in death by his wife Irene T. Rekuski; and son, Michael C. Rekuski. Survived by his son Steve Rekuski; grandchildren, Andrew S., Stephanie N., Nathan T. and Nicholas M.; brother, Chet; sister, Delphine; and other relatives and friends. Gerald Owned Rekuski Paint and Wallpaper on Central Ave., he was the president of C.A.C.A., president of Kiwanis Club, he started the Kiwanis Christmas party for children with special needs and also was the number one seller of the Kiwanis peanuts. He also served as the Grand marshal for the Central Ave. parade. Gerald was very involved in the NE neighborhood to make everyone's future a bright place. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Tuesday 9/8/15 at Kapala - Glodek Funeral Home (23013th Ave. NE. Minneapolis) Visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
