Fredendall, Dorothy Talbot 85, of Eden Prairie, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Rev Joseph and Alvah Talbot and her brothers John and Richard Talbot. Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William; children, Phyllis Fredendall (Hannu Leppänen), Laura Fredendall (Karl Barnebey), Nancy Ahrenholtz (Ted); grandchildren, Dan Brennan (Brittany), Henry and Heidi Ahrenholtz; great grandchildren, Ava and Cannon Brennan; her sister, Phyllis Ferns; nieces, Julie and Holly, and nephews, John, Ken and Bob, and many close and loving cousins and friends. Her service will be held Saturday, Sept 5, at 4 p.m. at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5730 Grove St., Edina, with visitation at 2:30. She was a teacher and worked in banking until age 78. Her wit and creative verse delighted friends and family, and will be remembered, as will her warmth and kindness. She gave in service to others through church projects including the Sandwich Project of MN. Her family, hymns and Lake Superior sunsets gave her joy.
