Sobiech, Alma M. Age 92, of N. Mpls, was called home to be with the Lord on Aug. 30, 2015; her room was finally ready. A long time, active member of St. Austin's Parish. Next to God, family was most important to her. Preceded in death by husband, Nick and six siblings. Survived by children, Richard (Marilyn), Robert (Maryanne), James (Ruth), David (Bonita), Nicholas (Susan) and Mary (James) Witte; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Church of St. Austin, 4050 Upton Ave N., Mpls, with interment following at Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, all at Gearty Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, and again one hour prior to Mass Thursday AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Community Parishes of St. Bridget's and St. Austin's. She will be able to celebrate our dad's birthday and their anniversary together now.
