Collier, Richard G., Jr. "Rick" age 64, of St. Michael, MN, passed away on August 1, 2015 at CentraCare Health, Monticello, MN. Memorial service Monday, August 10, 2015 at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, Rogers, MN at 11 AM with a visitation from 9:30 - 11 AM also at the church. Richard "Rick" Collier was born on October 7, 1950 in Minneapolis MN. Behind Rick's gruff exterior was a kind and gentle soul. He had a love for the outdoors that was second to his love for his wife, Lisa, to whom he was married for almost 27 years, and his two children, Julia and Grant, whom he adored. His faith in God made him a strong and stable man for them to look up to and he took every opportunity to pass on his words of wisdom to his children in his own gentle way. Rick had a unique sense of humor and a laugh that will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a strong family man and a wonderful provider. His influence in our lives is something that will last far beyond his life here on earth. Rick was the backbone of our family. He was one of a kind. He was a good man. Preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Lucas Letellier, father-in-law, Gerald Tepley & brother-in-law, James Anderson. Survived by his wife, Lisa Collier; son, Grant Collier; daughter, Julia (fiancé Mike Rogers) Collier; brothers, Pat (Carole) Collier & Steve (Patricia) Collier; sisters, Christine (Keith) Klemz & Michele Anderson; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
