Gehring, Bonnie (nee Dahle) age 90, of Edina, peacefully passed July 31, 2015. Born June 14, 1925, Waseca, MN to Charles and Olga (Breck) Dahle. Preceded in death by husband Paul; brother Mansfield, sister Dorothy, son David and daughter-in-law Jan. Survived by sister Pat (Dan) Borchardt, son Fritz, daughters Susan (Ray) Kieffer, Gara (Tom Terry) Gehring, Barbara (Kevin) Dulin; daughter-in-law, Gail Gehring; grandchildren Andreas, Shane, Riley, Justin, Laura, Danielle, Leslie, Todd, Brit, Shannon, 15 great grandchildren as well as cherished nieces and nephews. Bonnie loved growing up on the farm. She attended school in Excelsior, was a graduate of Waseca HS, earned her RN from Swedish Hospital and became a preemie nurse. Bonnie was married to her high school sweetheart Paul for 68 years and together they raised 5 children. In her generous spirit she volunteered in church, school and community activities. After her children were grown, she retook her Nursing Boards and began a new career in private duty nursing. Her greatest joy was making others happy. The staff at Lake Minne-tonka Shores lovingly cared for her the past 4 years. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association or charity of choice. Visitation 4pm, service 5pm Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015.
