Thomas D. McCollins

McCollins, Thomas D. age 86, of Medina, MN, passed away on July 30. Tom lived life to the fullest and was the consummate jokester. He was born and raised in Minnesota and a graduate of South High and the University of Minnesota. He raised his family in upstate New York and later returned to "God's Country" (Minnesota/Lake Sullivan). Tom is survived by Roseanne, his loving wife of 53 years; children Dan (Sue); Maureen (Mike) Erickson; Mary (Doug) Hackett, PJ (Janelle); and Katie (Adrian) Sale; 15 grandchildren - Tommy, Kelly, Cassidy; Nick, Ellie, Charlie; Dougie, Megan, Lily; Maddie, Max, Maya; Shaelyn, Monique, and Franki. Also survived by his four sisters Jo Shanley; Mary (Ed) Rossi; Pat (Ken) Sundstrom; and CeCe (Bob) Jonsen. Memorial Mass Wednesday, August 5 at 10:00 am, St. Joseph's "Little Church" (13015 Rockford Rd., Plymouth). Visitation one hour before at the little church. Luncheon immediately following at St. Joseph's Parish Community (8701 N 36th Ave, New Hope). We invite you to join us in celebrating Tom's life. We know Pops will be dancing, singing, golfing, watching hockey, and fishing to his heart's content. We will remember his smile, his warmth, his love of life, and his most cherished love, his family.
