Glass, Alice Age 90 of Golden Valley died on July 29, 2015. She was born in Moline, IL to Christian and Christine Sparling. She married Edward Glass in 1946 and moved to MN. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She provided a wonderful home for her family and treasured her time with friends. She happily spent her summers at the family cabin on Bay Lake and enjoyed painting and gardening. She was proud of her Danish heritage. Her faith was strong even while in declining health and she valued her church family throughout her life. Preceded in death by her husband Edward in 2005 and her three sisters. Survived by her children Barbara (Richard Schoenstedt), Larry (Linda), and Nancy (Leon Tyler); as well as grandchildren Christopher (Heather) Schoenstedt, Molly Schoenstedt -- her devoted caregiver, Laura (Jeffrey Schroeder), David Glass, great-grand-children Madeline and Theodore Schoenstedt; and sister-in-law, Betty Kuniey. Services will be held at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edin-brook Pkwy, Brooklyn Park on Wednesday, August 5 at 11 AM with visitation at 10 AM.
