Maxton, Robert Connell age 85, of Columbia Heights, passed away July 29, 2015. He joins his son, Robert Craig Maxton. He graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology. Served in the Korean War. Director of Metallurgical Engineering at Mpls. Electric Company in Col. Hts. Member of American Assoc. of Metals, American Foundry Society, Mining and Metals, instrumental in vacuum molding. Bob loved traveling and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ruth Maxton; daughter, Karen (Jim) Anderson; son, George Edward (Karen Marie); grandchildren, Aliesha & Nicholas Anderson, Mallory, Kylie & Alexandra Maxton.
