Peterson, Stewart Raynold 72 yrs young of Excelsior, MN died unexpectedly of a heart attack on July 4, 2015. Born on Oct. 15th in Ellsworth, WI to Raynold and Florence. He received his teaching degree from U of W River Falls and had a long career teaching elementary students in the Minnetonka School District. An avid angler, he cast his net making friends wide and deep. The best catch was his wife of 49 years, Marilyn. They were married July 2, 1966. Three daughters Kristi (Jon) Harris, Sharri (Scott) Schmaedeke, Lori (Jay) Schneck then gave him 8 beloved grandchildren Lucy, Jack, Ellie, Reid, Adam, Graham, Jeffrey & Chloe. They were his world and he was theirs. His proud smile from the bleachers, encouragement in a text and pure kindness will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, daughters, grandchildren, Brother Rod (Debbie) Peterson, sister Vivian (Dave) Hoseck, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
