Kistler, Geraldine Muriel (Dickinson) 83, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2015. Jerry was born July 15, 1931. After graduating from Patrick Henry High School, she married James Kistler in 1953 and they raised 7 boys in the house they literally built together in Plymouth. Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Agnes and brother, Ron. She is survived by sons, Mike (Linda), Steve (Sheri), Charlie (Carol), Paul, Dennis, Tom and Rob (Diane); grandchildren, Amanda, Greg, Emma, Brandon, and Nick; 6 step great grandchildren. She had a wonderful group of lifelong friends from grade school known as the Jeepers. Jerry loved to talk about raising her 6 boys born in 6 years (the 7th came 6 years later) and, well, she just loved to talk! She was well read and loved a spirited debate on most any subject. Remembrance Celebration of her rich life will be held at 2PM Thur, July 9 at Cremation Society of MN; 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park. Casual attire encouraged. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, donation are preferred to Jerry's favorite charity, Doctors Without Borders (doctorswithoutborders.org 212-679-6800)
