Conrad, Sylvia Eleanore Age 88, of Burnsville, died on July 5, 2015 of natural causes. Sylvia was the daughter of Albert and Mabel Huepen- becker of Plato, Minnesota where she grew up on the family dairy farm. After high school, she moved to the big city of Minneapolis and met her future husband of over 50 years, Robert L. (Bob) Conrad where they worked at Honeywell. Sylvia is survived by her sister Ramona Pieper of Norwood-Young America, MN and sisters-in law Mavis Huepenbecker of Wayzata, MN and Evelyn Conrad of Albertville, MN. Sylvia was the beloved mother of eleven children-7 boys and 4 girls, a good Catholic family! She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Kevin. The 9 surviving children include Marsha Oliver (Don), Therese Ockenden (Bob), Patrick Conrad (Bonnie) of Escondido, CA, Timothy (Cynthia), Brian, Janice Dehn (Charlie), Colin, Cathryn Walerius (Martin), and Thomas. Sylvia is also survived by her wonderful and amazing14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sylvia is also a past member of the Valley Troubadours, a musical entertainment group, which performs at senior and health care centers and other functions. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, July 9th at 10:30 a.m., with visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 County Road 42 E, Burnsville, MN 55306.
