Allison's life was a tour de force. She lived and worked with great passion & purpose. She was in the social services field for over 35 years and was recognized nationally for her efforts to end homelessness & intergenerational poverty. She was a truth teller with high expectations, but deeply compassionate and tender. She was an inspirational leader and mentor who touched many lives by engaging soul to soul. She was an audacious artist, ruthless card player, a beautiful, Crimson-lipped diva with a wicked sense of humor and a brilliant mind. We cannot express how much we will miss her fierce, loving presence and her wisdom. We are so grateful for the loving care she received from Dr. Tim Larsen, Sara, Katie, Jill, Marie and all the folks at Abbott and Minnesota Oncology, as well as Mary Ann, Mary Beth, Keri and the good people at Heartland Hospice. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347. (952) 405-7203.
