Steies, Kenneth "Ken" Age 80, of Fridley/Big Lake went to be with his beloved wife of 51 years on Sunday, June 28th. Born in Sherman Township, WI, Preceded in death by wife Delores, parents, brothers and sisters. Ken is survived by son Keith (Julie), daughters, Bonita (Al), Jacquelyn (Lonnie) and Virginia, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and countless friends and relatives. Ken was a member of the Spring Lake Park Lions and Past District Governor of 5M7. A respected local businessman, owner of S & S Industries and KJ's Grill and Bar. He will be missed for the wit and wisdom he was always willing to share. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, July 11th at 10am, at Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Ave NE, Blaine MN. Friends and family may gather one hour prior to the service. Family has requested memorials to the cancer center at Abbott, VPCI, 800 E 28th St, MR 16509, Minneapolis 55407 in lieu of flowers.
