Weis, Adrian Francis age 94, formerly of Bird Island, MN died peacefully on June 26, 2015 at The Gardens, Episcopal Home, Saint Paul, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bird Island, MN with Father George Schmit as celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Adrian Francis Weis was born on March 21, 1921, at Bird Island, MN to Henry and Catherine (Brunner) Weis. He was baptized and confirmed at St Mary's Church, Bird Island. He attended Grade School and graduated from St Mary's High School. He married Germaine T. Ploof on June 17 , 1945. They were blessed with two children, Mary Kathryn and Frank. Survived by his daughter, Mary Kathryn (Mick) Crandall of St Paul; son, Frank (Jill) Weis of St Paul; grandchildren, Tony Arrell, Katy (Jacob) Schultz, Adam (Elspeth) Weis, Corporal Zachary Weis, Lauren (Curt) Carlson, Ryan (Cess) Crandall, Jayson (Jennifer) Crandall; great-grandchildren, Caroline Mary and Abigail Ann Schultz, Atticus Francis and Harrison Edward Weis, Madeline, Marlie, Samantha, Evan and Hudson Crandall; his sister Phyllis Graves; his sisters-in-law, Eileen (Arlyn ) Janke, Lois (Stewart) Holt, Patricia Ploof, Jan Ploof, June Weis and Irene Pirsch; his brother-in-law Kenneth (Dorene) Ploof; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
