Mary E. (McNaughton) Taylor

Taylor, Mary E. Age 97, Bloomington, died peace-fully in her sleep on May 27. Born in Middleville, MI, July 31, 1917 to Charles and Hazel (Mitchell) McNaughton. Graduated from Washburn HS and U of MN; was a member of AXO sorority; and a home economist in the Betty Crocker test kitchens. Mary loved dancing, bridge, butterflies and most of all - people. Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Isabelle (Ray) Grewe and Margaret (Malcolm) Manual, and her loving husband of 51 years - Lucius O. (Lou) Taylor III. Survived by children, Mary Lou Rose, Susan S. Taylor, and Lou (Pam) Taylor; five grandchildren, Andrea (Dennis) Coulthart, Brian Rose, Ben Taylor, Ryan (Jess) Taylor, and Dan Taylor; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Special thanks to her loving caregivers at Friendship Village and Methodist Hospice. Memorial service Friday, June 5, 2 PM at St David's Episcopal Church, 13000 St. David's Rd., Minnetonka, MN 55305. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. David's Cornerstone Endowment Fund or the Employee Appreciation Fund of Friendship Village-Bloomington.
