James (Steven) Re

Re, James Steven Jim Re, 67, passed away on May 16, 2015. Jim was born on November 7, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN to Steven and Mildred Re. Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a strong, outgoing personality. He was thoughtful, considerate and well respected by all those who knew him. He was loved by his family and had friends who genuinely cared about him. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon of 46 years, his two sons, Christopher (Tracy) and Scott (Brandie) and four grandchildren (Jonah, Phalen, Landen and Cameron). He is survived by his mother Mildred Re, his sister Judy Kohn (David) and his brother Jerry (Susan). Jim graduated from Burnsville High School in 1965 and from Winona State University in 1970. After moving back to Minneapolis and working in sales for a few years, Jim and Sharon started Business Essentials, Inc. in 1978. Jim's hard work and dedication provided the key to the success of their business. A few years after selling the business in 1995, Jim retired. They purchased a house in Scottsdale in 2000. After retirement, Jim turned his focus to golf, enjoying time with his friends, spending time with his grandsons and doing volunteer work. We will miss Jim every day, we are fortunate to have been part of his life. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on June 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church in Carefree, Arizona. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jim's name to Mayo Hospital Foundation in Arizona.
