Ervin, Nancy Berg age 85, of Marco Island, FL and Edina, MN, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015. She had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage early in the day. She is survived by her husband, Harry C. Ervin; daughters Mrs. Elizabeth Valentini (Chris) of New York City and Mrs. Martha Hoppe (Mike) of Princeton, MN; and grandson, Jacob R. Anderson (father William Anderson) of Minneapolis, MN. Nancy grew up in the Colfax neighborhood of South Minneapolis and graduated from Washburn High School. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Political Science major and was an Alpha Phi. She was a fine athlete at both golf and tennis. She and her husband Harry were married for 64 years. She was a long time member of Christ Presbyterian Church having served as a deacon and elder. She was pre-deceased by her parents Oscar J. and Myrtle E. Berg of Minneapolis and brother Tom, who was killed in World War II. A memorial service will be held 11 AM June 5 at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina (70th St & Hwy. 100). In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ Presbyterian Church, Edina, MN.
