Johnson, Russell L. Age 95 of Robbinsdale and Maple Grove. Passed away 5/26/15. Preceded in death by wife of 60 years, June; grandson Jack; brother Walter and parents Martin and Anna. Survived by children; Janis (Dave) Langsdale, Joan (Andy) Eisenzimmer, Mark (Kerri), Mike (Deb), Matt (Betsy), Randy (Mary), Russell (Susan); grandchildren Carly (Joerg), Trevor (Lori), Troy (Kim), Matt (Jaime Lea), Darren (Nicole), Kirk (Caty), Mesa (Jeff), Justin, Jenna (Chris), Ryan (Rory), Cole, Nick, Charlie, & Alexandra; 22 great grandchildren. Russell was a WWII Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient, retiree of the U.S. Postal Service and worked as a butcher at Stilman's in NE Mpls. He received the WCCO Good Neighbor Award and volunteered at NEAR Food Shelf and Catholic Eldercare. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday, June 8th at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 4087 West Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation Sunday, June 7th 5-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W.
