Sandy L. Moore

Moore, Sandy L. Of Minneapolis, MN, born on June 30th, 1956, passed away peacefully at home on May 22nd, 2015 as her loving husband Jeff held her hand and was surrounded by her two sons. Sandy bravely battled breast cancer for the past four years. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, and daughter and was compassionate and caring to all people and living things. She was an avid artist who enjoyed painting, designing and building fairy houses and gardens for others to enjoy. She also was a collector of crystal stones. She loved traveling to warm places and was adventurous and always gave of herself and put others needs ahead of her own. Sandy was a 25 year dedicated employee of former Northwest Airlines. Sandy is survived by her husband of 25 years Jeffrey, children Jeremy and Jesse, her parents Mike and Rosemary Peterson, brother John (Roxy) Peterson, and sisters Linda Kennedy and Sharon Boet. Also survived by special friend Jerry Polomny and many relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank Eneida Miller, Amy Langenfeld and Tawney Smart for their compassionate care and to all the staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Allina Hospice care. To my dear Sandy, I look forward to the day when God decides to call me home and I am with you again for all eternity. Keep a place set at the dinner table for me. I love you now and forever, your husband Jeffrey. A Celebration of Sandy's Life will be held this Summer and will be announced later to family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the Animal Ark Shelter in Hastings, MN, or a breast cancer research organization of your choice.
