Johnson, Maureen "Mitty" (nee Crowley) Passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her parents, Rachel and James Crowley. Survived by her five sisters, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Eileen, Barbara and Creta; her three children, Rachael (Jennifer), Elizabeth (Onur), Gabriel (Justyna) and her beloved grandchildren. Mitty spent her entire life helping, serving and loving others. Mitty's gift to make everyone around her feel special, important and heard was her unmistakable calling card. Her exuberance for life, infectious playfulness and profound respect for all will be carried on in the lives and hearts of those who love her. Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at O'HALLORAN AND MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul) 651-698-0796, with a family visitation from 2 PM until time of service. Reception picnic to follow at Indian Mound Park in St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the "Maureen Johnson Memorial Fund" through Wells Fargo. All proceeds will go to St. Jude's Charitable Home, the hospital that Mitty helped build in India.
