Berg, June age 90 of St. Louis Park, died May 24, 2015. Preceded in death by husband of 59 years Arthur "Bob" Berg, parents Sam & Eva Hersch and sisters Sylvia Butwinick, Toba Bearman, Gloria Pinck and Adene Goldberg. Survived by loving children Susie & Steve Feldman, Laurie & Mark Pasch and Rick & Carol Berg; wonderful grandma to grandchildren Noah & Aimee Feldman, Cassie & David Benowitz, Jake Pasch, Jaime & David Hyman, Traci & Jon Saliterman and Justin Berg and fiancée Amy Levinson; adoring G.G. to great-grandchildren Allie and Chloe Feldman, Leo and Brody Benowitz, Emma Hyman and Quinn Saliterman; special cousin Ricki Butwinick; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A grateful thank you to her devoted care-givers. A woman ahead of her time, June served as the first female president of a school PTA in St. Louis Park in the 1950s, started a successful real estate career at age 55 not retiring until age 80, was a co-founder of the Twin Cities' Ronald McDonald House, organized the first-ever American Cancer Society garage sale which later became known as the World's Largest Garage Sale in addition to supporting numerous other charitable causes. June loved to have a good time and made friends wherever she went. She was always entertaining and cooking for family and friends and was known for her fish frys using fish caught on the annual family fishing trip, weekly Shabbat dinners, cocktail parties and freezer full of homemade soups. June's life was truly a life well lived and her boundless energy, vibrant personality and zest for life will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.
