Howard, Timothy Edwin Age 49, of Zimmerman, left us too soon on May 22, 2015 after an extended stay in the hospital. Survived and will be greatly missed by his loving wife Gail and children, Blake, Brett and Brooks; parents Ed and Jackie Howard; sister Tracy; 12 nieces and nephews; other relatives and many good friends. Tim was born in Bozeman, Montana where he began a lifelong love of hunting, fishing, skiing and being outdoors. Since becoming a proud father, he took over as coach for any sport that involved his boys: football, baseball and wrestling. Tim was a fantastic, passionate cook who loved to feed anyone and everyone who camped with the Howards or came for a family gathering. Tim is a hero and mentor in his boys' eyes, and Gail will cherish their many memories together. Visitation for Tim will be held Tuesday, May 26 from 5-8 PM at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St., Elk River. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 12:30 PM at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 566 4th St NW, Elk River.
