Wilson, David Anthony 75, of Deer River, formerly of Lake-ville, died following a brief illness Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Duluth. He was born May 10, 1940 to Vernon and Violet (Nokua) Wilson in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. David graduated from Greenway High School class of 1958, and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Heather Ann Wilson. David is survived by his son David (Michele) Wilson; grandson Eric Wilson; sister Jane (John) Graff, brother Dan (Laurie) Wilson, sister Mary Beth Crea; Uncle Ed Nokua; pet dog Diana; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. A Life Celebration will be held 2:00 to 6:00 pm Friday, July 17, 2015, at the Timber Lake Lodge in Grand Rapids.
